Cat_TP or TCP which one is better

CAT_TP is the transport protocol that runs on the UICC card, whereas TCP is the one which runs in the mobile phone.
So when we use CAT_TP, all confirmations related to data transfer and timeouts or link drops has to be notified over mobile phone <=> usim interface, which inturn increases unnecessary i/o operations over the mobilephone and usim interface.

so cat_tp can be slower when compared with the well proven tcp interface.
